How to use SAMSEL AutoMix
SAMSEL AutoMix is a browser music player and mixing app for your own audio files. It combines playback, synced lyrics, crossfades, an equalizer, cues, loops and audio trimming.
Open the playerLoad music and manage your queue
- Open Add music and choose audio files or a folder.
- If you have matching .lrc lyric files, select them with your music or choose the folder containing both.
- Open Queue to select tracks, reorder your music or clear the list.
- Press Play. Previous, Next, Repeat, the seek bar and volume control stay accessible.
Find synced lyrics
Automatic lyrics loading prefers timestamped local lyrics and then searches LRCLIB using the track title, artist and duration. Correct tags help distinguish different recordings.
Open Lyrics to search manually, load an .lrc file or adjust the sync offset. Live, remix and studio recordings can have different timings. Some songs have no synced lyrics, and provider availability can change.
Mix tracks with crossfades
Open Tools → Crossfade and enable the transition into the next track. Choose seconds or beat-based overlap, then select equal-power, linear, smooth or cut transitions. Beat timing uses tagged BPM, with a fallback when no BPM is available; it is not a full beatgrid synchronization engine.
Shape your sound and prepare tracks
Tools contains EQ, Cues, Trim, Download, Crossfade and Jingle. EQ adjusts frequency bands. Cues and loops help navigate a track. Trim exports a shortened copy rather than modifying the source file. Jingles add a transition layer.
Use the player on a phone
Open the same website in a modern mobile browser. Tap Play to allow audio playback. Compact controls remain near the bottom. Available folder picking, output-device and file-saving features vary by browser.
What runs on your device?
Music selection and browser playback use files on your device. Online lyric lookup sends track title and artist information to LRCLIB. Server-based Downloader features use the connected Windows backend and require its access token; the backend must be online.
Common questions
Does the app include a music catalogue?
No. Load audio files you have permission to use.
Why are lyrics missing or out of sync?
Check the title, artist and recording version, try a local timestamped .lrc file, or adjust the lyric sync offset. Synced lyrics are not available for every recording.
Will the app work without installing desktop software?
The browser player runs on the website. Server-based download processing is separate and depends on the connected Windows backend.
